At Karagato Studios, we take your privacy seriously. AeroLink was built under the fundamental principle of digital sovereignty and absolute privacy:
1. Zero Intermediary Servers (100% Local Peer-to-Peer)
AeroLink operates exclusively across your local Wi-Fi / LAN network. Your files and data travel directly between your mobile device and your PC without ever passing through cloud servers, relays, or third-party platforms.
2. Zero Data Collection
AeroLink does NOT collect, track, log, store, sell, or share any personal data, device identifiers, IP addresses, metadata, or file transfer history.
3. Permissions Used & Purpose
- Local Network (Wi-Fi / LAN): Solely required to discover authorized AeroLink devices on your local network via mDNS and establish direct peer-to-peer high-speed transfer sockets.
- Camera (Mobile): Used strictly locally and temporarily to scan the pairing QR code displayed on your PC screen. No photos or videos are ever captured, saved, or uploaded.
- Local Storage: Used exclusively to read the files you choose to send and write the files you choose to receive.
- Foreground Service / Wake Lock: Prevents the operating system from suspending the application while transferring large files.
4. Children’s Privacy
AeroLink does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.
