At Karagato Studios, user privacy is our top priority. Screen Recorder does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, sell, or share any personal information, usage data, or recorded media. All operations and video processing are performed 100% locally on your device.
2. Permissions and Purpose
To function as a screen recorder, the application requests the following Android permissions:

Screen Capture (MediaProjection):
- Purpose: Captures video of your device's screen.
- Control: Requires explicit user consent per recording session via the official Android system security dialog.
- Storage: Output video files are stored strictly on your local device storage (in the public
Movies/Grabadora/directory).

android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO):- Purpose: Captures voice commentary or ambient sound only when enabled in settings.
- Control: Can be toggled on or off at any time directly in the app settings.

Internal Audio Capture:
- On supported Android 10 (API level 29) or newer devices, captures system and app playback audio locally via the official Android
AudioPlaybackCaptureAPI.

Display Over Other Apps (
android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW):- Purpose: Displays floating control buttons over other applications for convenient pausing, resuming, and stopping of recordings.
- Control: This permission is optional and can be enabled or disabled based on user preference.

Foreground Service & Notifications (
FOREGROUND_SERVICE,POST_NOTIFICATIONS):- Purpose: Required by Android to maintain the screen recording process active in the background and provide controls directly from the device's notification bar.
3. Data Storage and User Control
- All recordings, screenshots, and watermark assets remain strictly on your local device.
- Karagato Studios does not have access to, nor view or manage, your video files or their contents.
- You maintain complete control to play, edit, share, or delete your recordings at any time through the in-app gallery or your preferred file manager.
4. Third-Party Services
Screen Recorder does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, analytics frameworks, or tracking tools. No data profiling or cross-app tracking is conducted.
